Trees are one of the keys to fighting the climate crisis. Old-growth forests sequester vast amounts of carbon, protect clean drinking water, safeguard plants and wildlife, help restore biodiversity, and so much more.

But these trees need our help—continued industrial-scale logging is counteracting the work they do. And while the Biden administration has pledged to protect America’s old-growth and mature forests, federal lands continue to be logged.

Together, let’s urge the Biden administration to follow through on their promise, and create a strong and lasting rule that protects these forests on federal land.
