The U.S. is the world’s number one producer of fossil fuels, which means that President Biden’s leadership is crucial. He has already put the U.S. on a clear path toward a clean-energy transition. But he can do more. Now is his moment to cease federal approval for new fossil fuel projects, phase out existing ones and end oil exports and fossil fuel investment abroad.
