Wild fish need our help. Irresponsible logging, a failed hatchery system, deadbeat dams and a changing climate threaten the waters we love and remain barriers to wild fish recovery, from wild steelhead in the Pacific Northwest to endangered Atlantic salmon in Maine’s Kennebec River.
Recent victories show that our leaders are listening. Albania established Vjosa Wild River National Park—the first of its kind in Europe—the EPA stopped Pebble Mine in Alaska’s Bristol Bay and Washington State ended commercial open net pen salmon farming in Puget Sound. But there’s more we can do.
Act now and join the wild fish community as we work toward a future of abundance for wild fish, clean water and healthy communities.
